FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION

First Article Inspection (FAI) is a formal process used to verify measurements for each manufactured feature or part of an assembly. FAI helps us determine whether or not a manufacturing process is capable of consistently delivering on parts that conform to your specifications and gives us the confidence that any subsequent parts will have followed the exact same manufacturing process. FAI is recommended for the introduction of new products or design changes, after factory moves, or following any vendor changes or extended production delays.
